The problem

Export deals meant Gemports ceilings, quality deductions, and three currencies while the WhatsApp thread waited. One wrong band cost margin or trust.

What we built

We mapped the Colombo to Prague handoff, then built a private digital systems calculator: Gemports baselines into four negotiation bands with quality steppers and USD, LKR, and CZK per stone.

What it does

• Six colour families and 30 grade tiers; heated vs natural treatment
• Carat bands from 0.1 ct through 20+ with sub-one-carat discounts
• Eight quality steppers plus colour modifiers that scale the Gemports baseline
• Four bands: good-deal buy, max buy, Colombo direct sell, Prague retail
• USD, LKR, and CZK per carat and per stone
• Padparadscha uses dedicated FOB and premium logic separate from blue-row scaling

Result

The team agrees buy and sell targets before money moves. Shared numbers replace mental math under pressure.
